(Nursery Age - 7th Grade)
Bethlehem UCC offers bible education classes for each age group, nursery age through 7th grade, on Sunday mornings throughout the school year. Sunday School classes meet from 10:45 am to 11:45 am every Sunday morning, which includes music time as well as class time.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a special week of education each summer for elementary age children: preschool through 6th grade. We share VBS with Holy Cross Lutheran Church another Church in Maple Lake.
We will be doing a combined VBS with Holy Cross Lutheran Church which we have done for the last few years. It will be at Holy Cross August 4-8, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until noon. We have a great time and learn lots of new songs and stories with lots of crafts and other activities too! We even have a picnic on Friday!
We are looking for a few volunteers to help us out. You don't have to commit a whole week but even a few hours would be very much appreciated!!
The Confirmation Program of Bethlehem UCC includes different periods of instruction throughout the life of a child, including:
4th Grade - Receive the gift of a bible
8th-9th Grade - Confirmation Instruction
The meeting time is from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Sunday mornings.
In May of the child's 9th Grade, after an acceptable "Statement of Faith" is written and meeting with the Spiritual Council there is a "Confirmation Service".
