Outreach
The outreach efforts of Bethlehem United Church of Christ carry out the historic mission of the church to bring blessings to our neighbors.
Locally we support the Annandale/Maple Lake Food-Shelf.
Our annual Vacation Bible School is done cooperatively with another congregation and includes some local children who have no other church involvement. It's sharing effort is filling a shopping cart with food for the local Food Shelf.
Women's Guild supports a child through Christian Children's Fund.
Funds are provided to:
One Great Hour of Sharing (assisting those in need around the world)
Neighbors in Need (assisting those in our own country)
Our Church's Wider Mission (the basic mission support of our United Church of Christ)
Strengthen the Church (These funds strengthen and renew existing congregations and fund leadership for new congregations as well as providing exciting new programs for youth and young adults.)
Chicago-United-Eden Seminaries (CUE) (to provide our future church leadership)
Christmas Fund (formerly Veterans of the Cross) (provides a financial "safety net" to individuals and families in need.)
